St Ives Temporary Closure

Royal Cinema is closing temporarily from the 8th December while we carry out some refurbishments and upgrades.
The cinema will remain open as usual until Sunday evening. After that we look forward to welcoming you back in early 2026.
The Magic of the Movies continues at our sister cinemas: Savoy Penzance, Regal Redruth, Phoenix Falmouth, and Flora Helston.

We are ensuring that all accounts that are valid on the day we close will be automatically extended when we reopen to make up for any time lost.
You will be able to use them at our other locations in the meantime, and this will not affect your extension.

The St Ives Enterprise Grants Scheme has received £1,940,450 from the government’s Town Deal programme. St Ives Town Deal Board, in partnership with Cornwall Council, successfully bid for a Town Deal worth £19.9 million to support a range of projects that will contribute to the town’s regeneration and boost the local economy. Cornwall Council is the lead authority for Cornwall Town Deals and supports the governance role of the St Ives Town Deal Board and administrates the fund.
